The AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT Enters RTX 4070 Pricing Territory
Your eyes do not deceive you: a Radeon RX 6950 XT – brand new from Newegg.com – is now available for $599.99 USD after a promo code. Oddly enough, that’s the same price as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070… Weird. Credit to VideoCardz.com for tipping me off to this, as I saw their tweet and post about this before going to Newegg myself to see if it was still an active promotion. IT IS.
By the way, the card is from ASRock (yes, they sell graphics cards!) and the full product name is “AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT Phantom Gaming 16GB OC”. True to the “OC” in the product name this offers a Base Clock of 1958 MHz, Game Clock of 2116 MHz, and a Boost Clock of up to 2324 MHz, all above reference specs.
