Thermaltake Ceres 500 TG ARGB, Sans ARGB Controller

For That Nice Clean Look

The Thermaltake Ceres 500 TG ARGB will run you $170, which might seem somewhat steep for a case with no ARGB nor fan controller, but there are some extra features that might intrigue you.  If you like a clean interior, this case comes with two mounting plates to allow you to hide up to four 2.5″ or two 3.5″ drives out of sight in the back of the case.  The PSU shroud hides an additional two 2.5″ or 3.5″ drives towards the front, with wiring channels to completely hide them from sight.  There is an additional plate to add another drive or two in a slightly less hidden location, if you need that much storage.

The four 140mm ARGB fans which come with the Ceres 500 TG ARGB can be daisy chained together, hiding the PWM and ARGB cabling from site and finally there is the classic Thermaltake 90° GPU bracket to let you mount your card vertically if you so desire.  The many intakes are covered in mesh filters, though TechPowerUp found the magnets a little weak, as the filters tended to pop off when they were working with the case.

The overall construction is solid and features a design that isn’t just another case, and the hinged glass side panel is a nice touch.  There is plenty of room inside for whatever additional cooling you might need, no to mention well endowed GPUs.  The full review is here if you are interested.
