What’s Black And Heavy And Sucks Up Energy?
It would be wise to measure your case before considering the Cooler Master MasterAir MA624 Stealth cooler, as it measures 144.9mm thick, 153.2mm wide, and 160mm high, with Tweaktown recommending a case at least 170mm deep. They would warn you about the weight as well, but apart from knowing it weighs more than a kilogram there is little information on it’s exact weight.
The cooler ships with a pair of 140mm fans to be installed on the heatsink, as well as an additional 120mm fan which can either replace one of the 140mm fans to give you more space, or you can install it on your case with the included screws. TweakTown tested with the 140mm fans and found it a decent performer, albeit with a caution. At ~$120 it’s performance is comparable to several very good $65 coolers.
On the other hand, you won’t get the nice black finish at that price, nor some of the features Cooler Master included in the MasterAir MA624 Stealth.
